Strawberry Shortcake Heaven

In a region where taste is sometimes (often) sub-par, and we only eat some things because of memories of better-done dishes had in the past (like Bishkek’s terrible imitations of Uyghur laghman), this (not low-fat) yogurt put in the freezer for two, three hours is like a slice of strawberry heaven on a hot summer day. Not to mention better than any ice cream available in Bishkek (commercial frozen yogurt doesn’t seem to have caught on yet)
